M. Mohamed Rinos (71762204032) received prestigious awards, including the “Prof. Swamidass Panneer Award, Janaki Rajagopalachari Memorial Endowment Prize, Smt. & Sri Rajalakshmi Karthikeyan Annual Memorial Award, Seshadrinathan & Seethalakshmi Endowment Prize, and the 1956–60 Golden Jubilee Award”, for academic excellence, university ranks, best outgoing student recognition, and being the Best All-Rounder.

M.J. Kumaravel, M. Mukunth Kumar, S. Santha Kumar, and A. Thabesvara received the Best Project Award in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) for their project titled “A COIRSMART: An IoT-Based Intelligent Control System for Coir Spinning Machines.”

Rishikesh P and M.Prasad won the Second Prize in the Poster Presentation Competition held during the “Underwater Robotics Workshop–2026” conducted by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) on 01.06.2026 and 02.06.2026, and received a cash prize of ₹30,000.

Aarthi B and Jeevika successfully completed an industry-sponsored mini-project based on the problem statement “IoT-Driven Hydroponic System with Automated Nutrient Optimization”. The project was developed using a specialized hydroponics kit provided by the industry partner, Agrovwitz.

Adithyan M P participated in a 24-hour Hackathon titled “HackSpora 2025”, organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, held on 12.09.2025 and 13.09.2025.

Nikhil S.S B.E(ECE) completed the prestigious Industry 4.0 Training Program at the National University of Singapore (NUS) from 15.06.2025 to 24.06.2025.

Aswin Narayanaa S successfully completed a 100-hour training program in Python Full Stack Development, conducted from 19.11.2025 to 20.12.2025 at the AI Lab, Coimbatore Institute of Technology.

Vijayalakshmi, Subhashini, Habinaya from third year B.E ECE secured first prize in TECHSCULPT’ 25 in the title “Federated Banking Access Framework with Smart Credentialing” organised by IEEE Student branch of CIT, on 17.09.2025.

Mohammed Sameer, Adithyan M. P., and Vipin C. secured Second Place in the Caterpillar Tech Challenge for the project titled “Carry-Back Detection”. SmartDump, is an intelligent automated carry-back detection system developed using Texas Instruments AWR6843AOP mmWave radar technology. After each dumping cycle, the system scans the truck bed and accurately detects any remaining material in real time. It identifies the location of the residual carry-back and provides instant alerts, eliminating the need for manual inspection and improving operational efficiency.

Arun Kumaran U, Avinash D, Naveen R K, Rahul S D, secured third place with a Cash Prize of Rs.8000 in ROBOVANTA’26 for the project titled “Edge-AI Adaptive Traffic Signal Controller with Real-Time Ambulance Detection and Emergency Priority”. This project uses OpenCV-based traffic and control signals adaptively based on vehicle density. During an emergency, the ambulance GPS location is tracked and signal priority is provided to its route. After the ambulance passes, the system automatically returns to normal traffic operation.
