About the Skill and Personality Development Programme Centre:
The Institute has launched the Skill and Personality Development Programme Centre (SPDC) as a dedicated central resource aimed at providing specialized training for students from reserved categories. Established during the 2020-2021 academic year, the SPDC is proudly sponsored by AICTE under the AICTE Quality Improvement Scheme (AQIS). This initiative is designed to equip students with essential skill sets that boost their employability and transform them into accomplished professionals in their respective fields.
Objectives of the SPDC
The center operates with a clear mission to empower students through the following goals :
- Personal Empowerment: Cultivating high levels of self-confidence and self-esteem while refining the overall personality of every participant.
- Skill Augmentation: Enhancing and polishing practical abilities that complement the students' core academic knowledge.
- Global Readiness: Organizing specialized courses and programs to ensure students can meet the rigorous demands of the international job market.
- Cognitive Excellence: Embedding vital professional traits such as creative thinking, complex problem-solving, and critical analysis.
