Code Of Conduct
Identity Cards
Students must carry their institution-issued ID cards at all times on campus and present them when requested by staff. Loss of ID must be reported immediately and replaced as per administrative protocol.
Dress Code
For Boys: Boys are required to wear formal pants with shirts and formal shoes for a neat and formal appearance. Jeans are not permitted.
For Girls: Girls must wear a churidar with a long top and a dupatta for a neat and formal appearance.
Behavior: Loitering in corridors or common areas during class hours is strictly prohibited.
Parking Regulations
Students are required to park their vehicles only in designated parking areas. Parking in unauthorized zones will result in fines or towing at the owner's expense.
Helmet Policy
Helmets must be worn by all students riding motorcycles or scooters. Only two people are allowed per bike; any additional passengers are strictly prohibited.
Campus Timings
Students must adhere to academic schedules. Late arrivals and early departures must be approved by the class advisor or concerned faculty. Students must follow official college timings and avoid loitering on campus during non-operational hours.
College Timings
- I Year: 8.30 am to 4.00 pm
- II to Final Year: 9.00 am to 4.45 pm
- Part Time BE: 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm
College Break Timings
- I Year: 10.20 am to 10.35 am
- II to Final Year: 10.50 am to 11.05 am
- I Year Lunch Time: 12.25 pm to 1.30 pm
- II Year to Final Year Lunch Time: 12.55 pm to 2.00 pm
Handling Valuables
Students are responsible for their personal belongings. Carrying large sums of money, valuable electronics, or jewelry is discouraged. The institution is not liable for any lost items.
Examination Ethics
Students must maintain academic integrity during assessments. Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of malpractice will lead to strict disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion.
Anti-Ragging Policy
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable by law. Any incidents must be immediately reported to the Anti-Ragging Committee or designated faculty members.
Anti-Drug Policy
Possession, use, or distribution of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or any intoxicants is strictly forbidden on or off campus. Violators will face severe disciplinary measures.
Gender Sensitization & POSH
The institution is committed to a safe and inclusive environment. Any behavior amounting to sexual harassment or gender insensitivity will be addressed under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) guidelines.
Health & Medical Assistance
Students are encouraged to report any medical condition that may affect academic performance. In case of emergencies, first aid is available on campus, and medical referrals will be facilitated.
Online Behavior & Digital Conduct
- Respectful Use of Digital Platforms: Posting or sharing memes that target, accuse or threaten any student, staff or faculty member is strictly prohibited.
- Cyber-Bullying: Any form of cyber-bullying, including harassment or defamation of others through digital platforms, is strictly forbidden.
- Email Security & Privacy: Unauthorized use, theft, or sharing of another individual’s email ID or
personal information without consent is not permitted.
Interpersonal Relationships
All interactions must be based on mutual respect. Bullying, harassment, discrimination, or any form of physical or verbal abuse is prohibited.
College Bus Conduct
Students using college transportation must follow decorum, including being seated during transit, avoiding loud behavior, and treating staff with respect.
Industrial Visits & Off-Campus Events
Participation in educational tours requires written consent and appropriate behavior. Students are representatives of the college and must maintain discipline at all venues.
Library Etiquette
Maintain Silence and Respect Library Materials: Students must remain quiet at all times in the library and handle all books and resources with care. Damaging or defacing library property is strictly prohibited.
Follow Borrowing Rules: Books must be borrowed and returned as per the due date. Late returns will incur fines, and repeated delays may lead to suspension of borrowing privileges.
Attendance & Leave Policy
Minimum attendance of 75% is mandatory in each subject to appear for semester exams. Medical or emergency leave must be supported with valid documentation and prior intimation.
Celebration & Batch Day Guidelines
Celebrations must not disrupt academic activities. Firecrackers, water balloons, or use of harmful substances (e.g., color powder) is banned on campus premises.
Smoking & Alcohol Prohibition (Tobacco-Free Campus)
Use of tobacco in any form is strictly banned within the college premises. Smoking, use of alcohol, and similar substances are strictly prohibited on campus. Any violation will lead to immediate suspension and possible dismissal.
Faculty & Staff Interaction
Respectful communication with faculty and administrative staff is mandatory. Unruly behavior or insubordination will not be tolerated.
College Property & Cleanliness
Students are expected to preserve institutional property. Defacement of walls, benches, or vandalism will result in fines and possible legal action.
Club Participation & Event Decorum
Participation in clubs and cultural events must follow faculty guidelines. Misconduct during practice or performance will lead to disqualification.
Sports & Athletic Conduct
Sportsmanship is expected both on and off the field. Students must follow the coach’s instructions and maintain discipline during games, practice sessions, and tournaments.
Hostel Behavior
Residents must observe hostel rules including curfew hours, cleanliness, and noise control. Any form of misconduct in hostel premises is subject to action by the warden and disciplinary committee.
