Academic Excellence Through Industry Integration

Hackathon by KLA Corporation

A hackathon was conducted by KLA Corporation for the M.Sc. students with the objective of assessing their technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and innovation skills. The event served as a platform for students to demonstrate their expertise in programming, analytical thinking, and real-time solution development. During the hackathon, students were given industry-relevant problem statements that tested their understanding of core concepts, logical reasoning, coding efficiency, and teamwork. Participants worked in teams to design, develop, and present their solutions within the stipulated time. The evaluation process focused on creativity, technical accuracy, presentation skills, and practical implementation of ideas. The hackathon provided students with valuable exposure to corporate expectations and industry standards. It also helped them understand how theoretical knowledge can be applied to solve real-world challenges. Based on their performance, shortlisted candidates were offered internship opportunities with a stipend of ₹75,000 per month. Upon successful completion of the internship, selected students were extended full-time job offers with a CTC of ₹3 LPA.
