- Rainwater Harvesting: The institute has implemented a comprehensive rainwater harvesting network across all major buildings to recharge the groundwater table and ensure a sustainable water supply throughout the year.
- Sewage Water Treatment Plant (STP): Our specialized STP utilizes biological treatment processes to treat domestic sewage, ensuring that the campus maintains the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene.
- Wastewater Plant: CIT operates a dedicated wastewater treatment facility designed to recycle water for non-potable uses such as gardening and irrigation, significantly reducing our fresh-water footprint.
