About ACM
The ACM Student Chapter organized a variety of technical events during the academic year 2024–2025 to promote innovation, problem-solving skills, and exposure to emerging technologies among students. The events included expert talks, coding competitions, and hackathons, fostering both academic and practical learning.
ACM Distinguished Speaker Program – Seminar on IoT | Date: 15-10-2024
Resource Person: Dr. Prasant Misra, Senior Scientist, Tata Consultancy Services – Research Brief Description: This seminar was conducted as part of the ACM Distinguished Speaker Program, focusing on the Internet of Things (IoT). The session provided insights into real-world IoT applications, research challenges, and future directions. Students gained valuable knowledge on how IoT is transforming industries and everyday life.
