Dr. K.S. Ramaswami, Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics of our institution, visited Cornell University, Ithaca, USA, from 16-02-2016 to 01-03-2016 to undergo academic training and collaborative research with Dr. Srinagesh Gavirneni, Associate Professor of Operations Management at Cornell University.

Dr. R. Lavanya, Head of the Department of Mathematics (I/C) of our institution, visited the University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka, from 27-03-2025 to 28-03-2025 to present a paper titled “Modeling and Enhancing Dengue Outbreak Predictions Using a Machine Learning Approach.” She also served as a session chair for the presentation of research articles at the 3rd International Conference on Advanced Materials for Clean Energy and Health Applications.
