Welcome to the CIT Mathematics Association

  • The CIT Mathematics Association established in July 2024, the CIT Mathematics Association is a faculty-led initiative aimed at promoting mathematical excellence and fostering a community of students passionate about mathematics.
  • Under the guidance of our convenor, Dr. R. Lavanya, HOD of Mathematics, and our coordinators, Dr. R. Prabhakaran, Dr. D. Sheeba, and Ms. I. Priyanka, we strive to create a vibrant platform for students to explore mathematical concepts, share knowledge, and engage in enriching activities.

Mission

  • The mission of the CIT Mathematics Association is to foster a community of students passionate about mathematics, providing a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and exploration of mathematical concepts and their real-world applications.
  • We aim to promote critical thinking, innovation, and intellectual curiosity among our members, while contributing to the academic and intellectual environment of our college.

Celebrated the birth anniversary of the renowned Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan on 23.12.2024, entitled as “Mathematical Science Festival” for first year B. E. /B. Tech., students at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore.
