Kalam Knowledge Club

• “Kalam Knowledge Club” in memory of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Former President of India is functioning under the guidance of the Department of Library to promote reading among the student community of CIT. The club consist three forums including ‘Readers Circle’, ‘UPSC Forum’ and ‘Science Forum’. The main objective of this club is to make the library as a platform for knowledge sharing.
• The club conducts events/programmes inviting/involving students towards library and reading, promote better utilization of library resources and services, engage students into regular activities on reading and to create awareness on various competitive examinations like UPSC and TNPSC ect. and encouraging scientific innovation.

“Let me define a leader. He must have vision and passion and not be afraid of any problem. Instead, he should know how to defeat it. Most importantly, he must work with integrity”.
