The Cloud Research is focused on developing innovative IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) with the current developments include:
The CLOUD Lab is actively engaged in the design and development of next-generation computing systems and applications that aggregate or lease services of distributed resources depending on their availability, capability, performance, cost, and users’ quality-of-service requirements.
- Open source heterogeneous cloud interoperability with internet working of Clouds for dynamic creation of federated computing environments for scaling of elastic applications.
- Green Computing and Efficient Energy Management framework .
Cloud Computing Infrastructure
- CIT’s new initiative in Cloud Computing for conducting fundamental research towards design and development of cutting edge technology-oriented Cloud platforms for wide range of applications. This is a sponsored project by “All India Council for Technical Education” on the research topic “Open source Generic Framework for Cloud Service Interoperability” in the year 2013.
- The cloud computing laboratory is a open source based middleware supported software research and development group within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering .
