Academic background

Dr.S.Shanmugapriya completed her B.E in Civil Engineering from Kumaraguru
College of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2001. She completed her M.E
(Construction Engineering & Management) at College of Engineering, Guindy in the
year 2007. She completed her Ph.D (Construction Management) under Anna
University, Chennai in the year 2016. She is working as Associate Professor in the
Department of Civil Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore
from 2012 to till date. She has 13 years of teaching experience, 6.5 years of Industry
experience and her research interests include Sustainability of Construction &
Demolition waste management, Applications of MCDM techniques in construction
management research, Lean techniques in construction, Decision support system
and analysis of load transmission on slabs and shores for different construction
techniques like Shoring, Reshoring, Backshoring, Preshoring and Partial striking. She
has published many technical papers in International Journals, National Journals,
Renowned International Conferences and in National Conferences in the field of
construction management.

Developing Statistical path Models using multivariate techniques to investigate the factors influencing time, cost, quality, safety, productivity and interfacial conflicts in construction projects.
