Academic background

Dr. S. Jayasri is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Mathematics at Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. She joined the institute as a Lecturer in August 2007 and handles Engineering Mathematics courses. She presented a paper titled “Tropical Cyclones”at a National Level Seminar held at PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in 2007.

She obtained her M.Phil. degree under Bharathiar University in 2008. She completed her Master’s degree from PSGR Krishnammal College for Women in 2006 and her Bachelor’s degree from Avinashilingam University in 2004.

Her area of specialization is Fluid Dynamics.

Research Interest

Her research interest includes certain studies on Reliability Acceptance Sampling Plans
She has published eleven research papers in international journals and has presented about two research papers in national and international conferences.
She has delivered guest lectures in Faculty Development Programmes and Student Orientation Programmes.
She has organized three Faculty Development Programmes at Coimbatore Institute of technology, Coimbatore.
She has attended about 55 Summer/winter schools/Workshops/Conferences
