Academic background
Dr.S.Elango is currently working as Associate Professor in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India. He is actively involved in testing and consultancy conducted by the department especially in energy auditing, and power quality studies. He assists the development activities in power electronics laboratory in setting up new experiments and projects. He is also responsible for looking after the HT and LT installations of the institutions to give hassle free power supply. His research in the area of power quality and power electronics in Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore (January 2009 Batch). He obtained his master’s degree in Specialization of Applied Electronics from Coimbatore institute of technology, Coimbatore-14 in April 2007. He did his bachelor’s degree in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Coimbatore institute of technology, Coimbatore-14 in April 2001.
