Dr. R. Sathiskumar

Academic background

Dr.R.Sathiskumar, obtained his Ph.D in Faculty of Technology (Surface Composites) from Anna University, Chennai in 2014. He obtained both Master’s Degree in Nano Science and Technology (K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, Tiruchengode) and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (PGP College of Engineering and Technology, Namakkal) from Anna University, Chennai. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, CIT since Nov. 2013.

Serving as one of the technical persons for Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) laboratory.

Publications

His contribution includes 12 papers in International peer reviewed Journals and 5 papers in International Conferences. He is an authorized supervisor of Anna University, Chennai and he is mentoring 3 Ph.D research scholar under the same university. He has organized 2 FDP courses and 5 workshop programs jointly with Professor Dr.N.Murugan. He is the life member of Indian Welding Society and also serving as a Member Secretary of Students Affairs in IWS Coimbatore Chapter.
