Dr. D. Jayanthi

Academic background

Dr.D.Jayanthi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu since August 2009. She lectures all the Engineering Mathematics papers, M.Sc., Mathematics and also part-time B.E papers.

She has awarded the Doctorate(Ph.D,) in Mathematics in the field of Graph Theory under Anna University in December 2022. She did her M.Phil., Mathematics from Nirmala College for Women, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India in  2012 , B.Ed.,  Mathematics from Avinashilingam University in 2008 and B.Sc., M.Sc.,  Mathematics from Sri G.V.G Visalakshi College for Women, Udumalpet in the year 2003 and 2005 respectively.

She has published research papers in Scopus and Web of science journals and  presented one paper in National level seminar at Hindustan Institute of Technology &

Science, Chennai. She has excelled as a coordinator and successfully conducted two Faculty Development Programmes(FDP) which were sponsored by TEQIP and AICTE.

Prior to join in CIT she worked in Schools, S.N.R Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Udumalpet, Tripur during the year 2005-2006 and R.G Matriculation Higher Seconday School, Udumalpet, Tripur during the year 2006-2007.
