Academic background
Dr. K. M. Janani joined as an Assistant Professor at Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT) on 2026. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam, during the period of 2012-2016. She pursued her Master of Technology in Solid State Technology from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Trivandrum, during the period of 2016-2018. She obtained her Ph.D. from PSG College of Technology affiliated to Anna University, with research focused on electrochemical biosensor development, during the period of 2021-2025. Her academic training spans electronics, semiconductor devices, materials science, and biomedical instrumentation.
