Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTC) at Coimbatore Institute of Technology
The primary objective of MMTTC is to enhance the quality of higher education by strengthening the professional competencies of teachers, academic leaders, researchers, and educational administrators. The centre focuses on improving teaching effectiveness, research capabilities, leadership skills, and the integration of modern educational technologies in line with the objectives of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. MMTTC at CIT regularly conducts Faculty Induction Programmes, Refresher Courses, Short-Term Training Programmes, Faculty Development Programmes, and NEP Orientation and Sensitization Programmes. These programmes are designed to expose faculty members to innovative pedagogical practices, outcome-based education, assessment techniques, digital learning tools, research methodologies, and academic leadership concepts.
The centre serves faculty members from universities, engineering colleges, arts and science colleges, and other higher educational institutions across India. Through its training initiatives, MMTTC promotes continuous professional development, interdisciplinary learning, ethical teaching practices, and technology-enabled education.
