YRC (Youth Red Cross)
The Youth Red Cross is the humanitarian heart of our campus, dedicated to the principles of health, service, and international friendship. It prepares students to respond with empathy and skill during emergencies, fostering a spirit of selfless volunteerism. Through various outreach programs, the club addresses critical health needs and promotes humanitarian values within the student body. Membership provides essential training that empowers individuals to become resilient and compassionate leaders in their communities.
Vision
To be the leading humanitarian force on campus, inspiring a legacy of empathy, crisis resilience, and voluntary service among the student population.
Mission
To equip students with essential life-saving skills, promote community health education, and provide rapid humanitarian response during times of local or national crisis.
What We Do
The YRC at CIT is the primary driver of health and safety initiatives. We manage one of the region's most active student blood donor directories and coordinate massive donation camps twice a year. Our members undergo rigorous, certified First-Aid and Disaster Management training, transforming them into campus first-responders. We also focus on preventive healthcare, conducting workshops on mental health, nutrition, and epidemic prevention, consistently embodying the principles of the International Red Cross movement.
Core Values
Universal Humanity, Impartiality, Neutrality, and Voluntary Service.
