YHAI (Youth Hostels Association of India)
The YHAI unit at CIT encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the spirit of adventure. By organizing safe and challenging outdoor expeditions, the club builds physical endurance and a deep respect for the natural world. Members learn the values of teamwork, resilience, and environmental stewardship while exploring the diverse landscapes of our country. It is a unique opportunity for youth to connect with nature and develop a global perspective through travel and exploration.

What We Do
The CIT unit of YHAI is the ultimate outlet for the adventurer. We lead organized treks through the Western Ghats, Himalayan mountain expeditions, and cross-country cycling tours. These programs are designed to build character, teaching students survival skills, wilderness navigation, and the ethics of "Leave No Trace." Our activities help students develop the mental toughness and adaptability required to thrive in unpredictable real-world environments while fostering a profound respect for the environment.
