Photographic Club
The Photographic Club is dedicated to the art of capturing life’s most meaningful moments through a professional and creative lens. It provides a sanctuary for visual storytellers to refine their technical skills in composition, lighting, and digital editing. The club plays a pivotal role in documenting the institute’s history, ensuring that every cultural and academic milestone is preserved for posterity. For members, it is an opportunity to transform a passion for imagery into a sophisticated medium of communication.
Vision
To chronicle the evolving legacy and creative spirit of CIT through the mastery of light, lens, and visual narrative.
Mission
To provide comprehensive technical education in digital imagery and cinematography while documenting the academic, cultural, and sporting milestones of the institute.
What We Do
Our members are the official visual historians of the institute. We conduct in-depth workshops on DSLR mechanics, studio lighting, and post-production suites like Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro. The club provides complete media coverage for all major events—from convocation ceremonies to national-level symposia. We host the "Annual CIT Photo Exhibition," a platform where students showcase their artistic perspectives on nature, architecture, and campus life, fostering a professional approach to visual media.
Core Values
Creative Insight, Technical Precision, Patience, and Narrative Integrity.
