CIVILTHON’24 National Civil Engineering Hackathon at CIT
We are thrilled to invite students from your esteemed institution to participate in the National Civil Engineering Hackathon, hosted by the CIT CGC Cell and Department of Civil Engineering at Coimbatore Institute of Technology (CIT), Coimbatore, India. This exciting event, taking place on September 6th, 2024,provides a unique platform for undergraduate civil engineering students to showcase their talent and creativity in tackling real-world challenges.
Hackathon Theme:
- Theme I: Applied Civil Engineering (Focuses on practical applications)
- Theme II: Civil Engineering Design and Analysis (Software and computational focus)
- Theme III: Civil Engineering Innovation (Interdisciplinary Focus)
- Date: September 6th, 2024
Note:
Teams can choose only one problem statement from any theme. For “Theme I” may involve some experimental work depending on the chosen problem statement. Labs or field visits will be arranged (details will be provided later). Bring Your Own Laptop (BYOL): For “Theme II & III” Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops with the necessary software packages pre-installed. Specific software requirements will be announced closer to the hackathon date.
