Academic background

Mr.C.Vivek, Assistant Professor of CIT is a Mechanical engineer specialized in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Kumaraguru College of Technology (2006) and pursued his Master of Engineering (M.E) under the specialization Computer Integrated Manufacturing at PSG College of Technology (2008).

He joined CIT as an educator and started his career as Assistant Professor and gained exposure in teaching field with teaching experiences of 7 years.


Publications

He has published a number of technical papers in International and national conferences in the area of manufacturing technology.

Additional Responsibilities

He has been the General Time Table Convener for the academic years 2014-15 & 2015-16 and has been the departmental staff in-charge for Autonomous Management System (AMS).

Research Interest

He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Mechanical engineering from Anna University Coimbatore. His field of research is related to the product manufacturing with complicated design and manufacturing in the area of Rapid Manufacturing. His research
